“ Hot dogs are a popular beach food in Surf City and Hot Diggity Dogz is the place to go. The colorful hot dog stand is just across the street from the beach. They must have limited off season hours because the first time we stopped by they were closed. But last Friday, we were able to try several of their popular dogs. The menu is vast and they serve burgers and other food besides dogs. I had the famous Carolina dog that had chili sauce and Cole slaw. I'm not sure I'll ever get used to slaw on a dog, but it was good. My husband had the Beach Dog which was immense and messy. He loved it. The Beach dog was a delicious blend of chili, slaw, onions and mustard. Service was friendly and quick. We ate at the tables in front of the stand which were clean! There is parking that is free off season, but I'm not sure about high season. ”

“ My husband ordered a Carolina hot dog as a walking by snack. It was super yummy. Never ever would have thought of putting cole slaw on a hot dog before. But it was so good. We actually had to come back for more. Even when we left Topsail and got home, we wished that we stopped to bring some more. Just have to come back again. ”

Nothing fancy about this place and honestly that's what makes it great, lots of different dogs on the menu from super dressed to naked and everything in between. They also have sausages, nachos, shaved ice and some other concession grab and go items. Overall this is a great little place to stop at while you're at the beach and you want something that quick and delicious fast! ”
